The Craving Trap
You have to realize something. Sugar in its refined state is not food. Junk food is not food. Take a look at the definition of food in the dictionary.
Food n. 1. that which is eaten to sustain life, provide energy, and promote the growth and repair of tissues; nourishment [Old English f?da, nourishment]
According to this definition many people are living on something other than food. And look closely at the definition; do you see anything about food is supposed to give pleasure?
Not quite.
Food gives energy, and sugar takes it away, so sugar is not food.
